FOREWORD
God is searching for you. Isn't that an amazing, powerful, humbling thought? That the God of all, the Creator, the Almighty, is looking, searching, seeking you out!
.. But why is he searching? Surely, if he is God of all, then he knows where you are, knows your every move, thought, word, deed? He's searching for something more, something deeper, something personal.
.. He's searching for that personal relationship with you that he doesn't just want but desires with all his heart! He loves you so much that he is willing to do anything for you! You don't believe me? Well, take a look around you, at the world, at the beauty that still prevails. At your friends, at yourself, at life. At nature and its power, at creatures, at creepy crawlies and bugs and slugs! At his son...
.. God searches for us through our lives wherever we are. In everything we do he is desperately trying to find us, contact us, touch us. If there are a hundred steps between us and God, he's taken ninety nine of them but we've got to do our bit as well... and all that means is taking that one step in to the arms of the searching God.
