It was said many years ago "The
Salvation Army will sing its way around the world". This it
has done with it's bands and singers. Some have experienced
the emotion of hearing the Salvation Army on our streets but this
recording, the eighth in our Hymn Makers series, gives us the
opportunity of not only hearing the band and singers, but also
introduces us to Herbert Booth and Albert Orsborn who have
contributed so much to the Army's hymnody. Your home and Hymn
Makers collection will be enriched by this recording.
